How to Order

1. How do I place an order?

Ordering from Hello!Lucky is a snap!

  1. Browse our site to find your perfect design. If you like, order a sample.
  2. Place your order on our website. Questions? Give us a ring – we’re always delighted to hear from you!
  3. Review and approve proofs – show them to grandma, bridesmaids, etc. You get 2 free rounds of color PDF proofs!
  4. Your order ships about 5 - 10 business days from approval (depending on the service selected)

2. What happens after I place my order?
  • We'll e-mail you with an order confirmation for review/approval.
  • Within 2 business days, we will email you a color, digital .pdf proof of your invitation.
  • Your order ships about 5 - 10 business days from approval (depending on the service selected)

3. Can you mail me a printed proof of my invitation?
Letterpress:
  • Inkjet printed proofs are available for a fee of $50 per proof plus shipping.
  • Please note that inkjet printouts are not the same as the final letterpress printed product: the color will not be 100% accurate and the texture will be flat, rather than indented.

Digital Offset:
  • Digital offset proofs are available for a fee of $50 per proof plus shipping.
  • The colors will be very close to the final output, but please note that there can be subtle variations between jobs.

4. What is your cancellation policy?
  • There is a $100 cancellation charge if you decide to cancel before approving your final proof.
  • Once your final proof is approved, there are no cancellations, and no refunds.

5. After the items are printed, what is your return policy?
  • We do not accept returns as our wedding invitations and personalized stationery are custom-printed products.
  • However, if you are unhappy with your order, please give us a call. We will correct mistakes made on the part of Hello!Lucky as quickly as possible, and will send any reprinted stationery via expedited shipping. We strive to make our customers not simply satisfied, but downright ecstatic, so you can count on us to always do the right thing!

6. What should I check on my proofs?

Here is a checklist our customers have found useful in sidestepping a needless headache or heartache (e.g. realizing their fiance’s name is misspelled!)

  • Are all the stationery items you've ordered included in the proof?
  • Are the ink, paper and envelope colors correct?
  • Are all fonts correct?
  • Is the text spaced properly?
  • Is the alignment correct?
  • Double check all dates, names, professional titles, physical addresses, email & web addresses, and telephone numbers and make certain you've included all relevant information
  • Double check that there are not abbreviations and that all dates and addresses are spelled out (i.e. Street versus St.)
  • Double check spelling & punctuation
  • Are any design elements or motifs missing? Please note that all background patterns and borders are printed so if a pattern or border does not appear on your proof, it will not be printed.

Please note: Once you have given final proof approval, you bear final responsibility for the design and typographical elements of your invitations. Hello!Lucky will not bear the costs of reprinting and shipping orders due to any errors you have approved, nor will a refund be issued. Crafting perfect invitations is a shared responsibility and while we always try to do our best to lend an expert eye to every detail, we’re mere mortals!
