How to Order

GREETING CARDS, GIFTS, AND STATIONERY

Simply browse our website and place your order using our secure online order system. Greeting card and gift orders will usually be dispatched in 1 – 2 business days.

Personalized stationery orders will be shipped 5-10 business days from proof approval, depending on the service requested. A free .pdf proof will be e-mailed to you on receipt of your order.

WEDDING INVITATIONS

Ordering wedding invitations from Hello!Lucky is easy:

Step 1: Choose a design and order samples
Step 2: Place your order online and receive a .pdf proof in 2 business days
Step 3: Approve your proof. Your order will ship in 5 – 15 business days, depending on the service requested (excludes shipping transit time)

B. Order samples

Click the "order sample" button on the product description page. If you’re in the Bay Area or London, you can also pick up samples at our studios.

Your sample wedding invitation set will consist of your requested invitation design, a reply card, an outer envelope, and a reply card envelope, printed in a standard ink color. If you are interested in seeing samples of a particular envelope color or envelope lining, please let us know when placing your sample order.

Most sample orders are processed within 2–3 business days and sent via regular USPS service from our San Francisco studio. If you are in a rush, please contact us so that we can prioritize your order.

The cost of samples is credited to your wedding invitation order with Hello!Lucky if you decide to order from us.

Step Two: Place your order and receive an invitation proof

You can order at any time using our online ordering system, which makes it easy to view different options and order wedding invitations to match your exact specifications.

Should you have any questions, or require more customization, contact us and we will be happy to help you with your order.

We welcome visits to our San Francisco studio to view the hundreds of design variations we have created over the years. Contact us to schedule a consultation.

You can also visit one of our retail partners near you to view a selection of our wedding invitations and receive in-person assistance in choosing and designing your invitations.

Once we receive your order, we will send you an e-mail acknowledgement.

B. Receive your .pdf proof (2 rounds free!)
Our design team will create an electronic proof to of your invitations and you will receive them via e-mail within 2 business days of placing your order. Note that colors will appear differently on screen than they will when printed.

Step 3: Approve your wedding invitation proof

Approve your wedding invitation proof after careful review. Take your time. Our proofs are custom designed and are not automatically generated from our online order form, so please check all proof details carefully.

We offer a proof preview checklist to help you cover all aspects of the invitation set, and recommend having several people review your proofs prior giving final approval.

PROOF CHECKLIST

  • Are all the stationery items you've ordered included in the proof?
  • Are the ink, paper and envelope colors correct?
  • Are all fonts correct?
  • Is the text spaced properly?
  • Is the alignment correct?
  • Double check all dates, names, professional titles, physical addresses, email & web addresses, and telephone numbers and make certain you've included all relevant information
  • Double check that there are not abbreviations and that all dates and addresses are spelled out (i.e. Street versus St.)
  • Double check spelling & punctuation
  • Are any design elements or motifs missing? Please note that all background patterns and borders are printed so if a pattern or border does not appear on your proof, it will not be printed.
  • It is important to note that once you have given final proof approval, you bear final responsibility for the design and typographical elements of your invitations. Hello Lucky will not bear the costs of reprinting and shipping orders due to any errors you have approved, nor will a refund be issued.

Step 4: Your order ships to you

Your invitations are printed and packaged in beautiful presentation boxes and shipped to you. We will contact you when your order is ready to ship with tracking details.

PAYMENT TERMS AND METHODS

Full payment is due at the time you place your order. Hello!Lucky accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit card payments via the web or phone. To provide your credit card number over the phone, please call us during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9am–6pm PST). We also accept cashiers checks, money orders and personal checks via mail. Call us at 888-552-3724 or email us at info@hellolucky.com for details.

All orders taken online using credit cards are encrypted and highly secure. We use the highest quality encryption and authentication of all customer sensitive data, including credit card numbers.

SALES TAX

We are required to charge sales tax on all orders shipped within the state of California, at the rate of the city or county where the order is shipped. Domestic US orders shipped outside of the state of California are exempt from tax. All UK orders are subject to 17.5% VAT – please contact us for UK pricing.
