Job Description

We are currently seeking a Custom Stationery Associate to join our team in the San Francisco office. The Custom Stationery Associate is responsible for working closely with clients on custom wedding invitations, birth announcements, custom holiday cards and personalized stationery.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Service & Project Management (90%)

  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer sales inquiries
  • Provide friendly, proactive customer service to custom printing (wedding, baby, and social stationery) clients
  • Manage custom orders through the entire sales and production process:
    • Lead Generation: Mail catalogues and samples, responding to customer inquiries
    • Customer Service: Schedule and conduct client appointments; consult with clients on design options, etiquette, and printing options; generate quotes, contracts, and timelines
    • Proof Generation: Work with clients and our Design Team to develop proofs that meet their design vision, and are error-free and prompt
    • Project Management: Using Hello!Lucky's project management system, track project process and coordinate timely and accurate printing with the production department
    • Billing and Shipping: Generating invoices and shipping documents
  • Provide customer quotes, manage contracts, deposits and billing

Marketing & Other Projects (10%)

  • Represent Hello!Lucky at various wedding and trade shows
  • Provide input on on-going development of the custom printing area of www.hellolucky.com, including customer feedback and contributing content, e.g. "real weddings" features, customer FAQs, etc.
  • Provide input on new product development

Desired Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • 2 years of work experience in a retail, business development, or client-oriented role
  • Demonstrated passion for stationery and design
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar CRM software a plus
  • Previous stationery/printing experience a definite plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Start Date:

  • This position is full-time with an immediate start date
  • Please note that the position requires the candidate to work from Tuesday to Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off

Compensation:

  • $14 per hour, commensurate with experience. Full array of health benefits, including medical, dental and vision, plus paid vacation as well as other benefits
