What types of paper do you offer?

We offer the finest professional printmaking papers from English, Italian and American mills. Our standard papers are:

• 100% cotton – generally considered to be more environmentally friendly than wood based papers. It’s made of cotton linter waste from cotton textile manufacturing and therefore is recycled!
• A substantial 110 lb: the maximum thickness a paper can be and still be folded.
• Archival quality and will not yellow over time.

We also offer 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper:

• Hemp ecru
• Recycled denim ecru

I want my wedding invitation printed on a cardstock that is heavier than the sample you sent to me. Can you do this?

Letterpress:

• Yes. We offer duplex (double-thickness) cardstocks in White and Ecru.
• There is an additional charge of $1 per invitation set for these stocks.
• Please note that the maximum number of duplex paper cards that can comfortably fit into an envelope is two. If you have more than a wedding invitation and RSVP card, we recommend printing the other pieces on matching single-weight invitation stock.

Digital:

• Unfortunately, anything heavier than 110 lb won’t feed through a digital press. We’re waiting for the technology to improve with bated breath!

I have a particular paper in mind that I would like to use for my wedding invitations. Can you order it for me?

• Sure thing – we are more than happy to order a custom paper for you.
• A service charge of $40 will apply, in addition to the cost of the paper.
• Note that the cost of the paper will at a minimum be that of the minimum order quantity for that paper.
• Most paper is sold in cartons or packages of 50 or more sheets, so you will likely end up paying for more paper than is needed to print your wedding invitations. We’re happy to send you the leftover paper for crafting projects and other DIY wedding day details!

I would like to use post-consumer waste recycled paper for my wedding invitations. Do you offer this?

• All of our house papers are 100% cotton (tree-free and made of cotton linter waste from cotton textile manufacturing)
• We also offer 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper:
• Hemp ecru
• Recycled denim ecru
