This week we were featured on the National Stationery Show’s industry blog. We shared what we thought made a show-stopping booth and gave some examples of booths we’ve loved at shows past.
We’re all about keeping booth designs clean and simple and think a little can go a long way. This year we’ll be going with white walls and some big and bold neon decals taken from some of our favorite new card designs.
We love these booths from previous shows; at top Hannah Berman of Pie Bird Press looking adorable in her simple booth with colorful bunting, next Snow & Graham‘s stunning wall of paper flowers at the 2012 show, and finally, a wonderfully rustic booth from Grey Cardigan at last years show, we could live in this well designed booth!
To read the entire post head to the National Stationery site here. And if you’ll be attending this year’s show be sure to visit us at booth #1759!
Whew! We just wrapped up another National Stationery Show – complete with old friends, new designs and lots and lots of inspiring new work. Our own booth featured a lovely felt sign made by our staff (above) and a couple projects from Handmade Weddings, like these yarn wrapped bottles…
…and fun paper link chains!
We were super excited about our new products, like this “Treat Yourself” card from Julia Rothman….
…and our reversible journals!
Some amazing people stopped by our booth to visit, but our favorite visitor was Eunice’s son Jude – he really put the rest of us to shame with his amazing sales skills!

We’re back from New York! The National Stationery Show was a whirlwind of new and old friends, fellow designers, bloggers and buyers from our favorite stores around the country, not to mention some incredible paper products! There was so much inspiring work from new designers and those who have been in the business for years. For our own booth, we were thrilled to introduce our new designs from Julia Rothman (above), Esther Aarts and yours truly.
We re-purposed the pom poms from Eunice and Daniel’s wedding – they were a big hit!
We also got a chance to preview the cover of our new book, Handmade Weddings, from Chronicle Books. The book comes out this fall, and is available for pre-order here.
We added some decor with pink peonies and vintage bottles from the Brooklyn Flea (and candy for buyers and booth-workers!).
