We were just thinking about how much we love marzipan. So tasty, so gastronomically superior to fondant.

But marzipan is one of those things that can be done really well, or can just as easily fall off the wagon into the territory of hyper-kitsch. We would like to see some cake makers bring back the art of marzipan sculpture. See how charming marzipan can be?

How ’bout them apples!?

Aren’t they just edible?! (Why yes, yes they are.)

Perhaps they could be made in the style of our new Heirloom Harvest, or Lavender Harvest wedding invitation suites?

Speaking of the Yarn Wrapped Bottles project from Handmade Weddings, it was featured the latest issue of Bride’s! Woot!

We thought that this fab head band  looked familiar!  Turns out, our great friend Jennifer Behr, has a few pieces in the new Anthropologie collection, like this one, originally designed for Eunice’s wedding!

Now we are even more excited to see BHLDN given that Jenn is the queen of fabulous hair accoutrements!

Anthropologie is launching a new wedding line called BHLDN on February 14th! For reals!

Wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, amazing sparkly shoes and more!  Needless to say, we are breathless with anticipation (and for those of us who are already married, a wee bit of jealousy!)

Adore the colors and the eclectic décor! And we bet the beautiful Berkshires made for the perfect backdrop. (Some of us here at Hello!Lucky can claim those pretty mountains in western Mass. as old stomping ground.)
