All Hello!Lucky Letterpress cards are designed in San Francisco and printed by Egg Press MFG, a Portland, Oregon-based collective known for its commitment to craft, sustainable manufacturing, and putting people first in all that they do.

Egg Press MFG likes to think of itself as "thoughtful as hell." Their mission is to make people feel good, and encourage them to make others feel good too.

WHAT IS LETTERPRESS?

Letterpress is the original old-school printmaking technology.  Unlike digital printing, the image is transferred onto raised plates, then pressed into the paper one color at a time, resulting in vibrant colors and a tactical quality that leaves a lasting impression (pun intended!).  It’s the ultimate medium for writers, artists, and stationery-lovers.

WHY LETTERPRESS?

The nostalgia of both the form and function of a letterpress card recalls a time when letter-writing was the norm, not the exception. We love that it belongs to another era, while still feeling fresh and delectable to the modern eye.  There also is a minimalism to letterpress that we find exquisite.

WRITE_ON, OUR ANNUAL LETTER-WRITING CAMPAIGN

Letterpress is more than a print method – it’s a medium for thoughtful letter-writing.  Since 2013, we have partnered with Egg Press to host the mission-driven Write_On! Campaign to spread joy, creativity, and connection through letter-writing each April, National Letter-Writing Month.
